Job Responsibilities
As an optometrist in our practice, your responsibilities will include:
• Conducting thorough eye examinations using advanced diagnostic equipment
• Diagnosing and managing various ocular diseases and conditions
• Prescribing corrective lenses and recommending appropriate treatments
• Providing pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery
• Educating patients on proper eye care and maintenance
• Collaborating with our team of opticians, technicians, and administrative staff

Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
• Valid state optometry license
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply

Our practice is in Rapid City, South Dakota, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Black Hills. Rapid City is a rapidly growing, family-friendly city with endless outdoor activities. We currently have five doctors and are one of the largest optometric practices in the area. Our established patient base consists of primary care, high volume of medical, scleral and specialty lenses, dry eye, and pre and post operative surgical co-management.

Description
Drs Tucker-Kudrna-Holec-Young Eye Care Centre, LLP was established in 1937. We are seeking multiple associates to join our rapidly growing, state-of-the art private practice. We have 2 partners retiring which allows the new associate to instantly have a full patient load without needing to build your practice. This allows the production-based salary to be extremely rewarding. We have a fantastic support staff to allow the new associate the ability to focus solely on patient care. We average between 12-15 exams a day with few short appointments built in. We work 4 days a week and every other Saturday morning until noon. Our high-end optical and optical staff is second to none and consistently wins Best of Black Hills for the top optical.
